AILET Preparation Tips

While preparing for the All-India Law Entrance Test, also called AILET, there are some important tips to keep in mind. First and foremost, it is important to be aware of the eligibility criteria for the exam. The candidate must have completed or be appearing in their final year of graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates who have qualified for the final year of LLB are also eligible to take the test.

The next important tip is to choose the right study material. There are many coaching institutes which provide study material for AILET. However, it is always advisable to go through the official website of National Law University, Delhi and other law colleges which offer law courses, as they usually have updated and more relevant information.

Juris Academy’s faculty has been helping law aspirants crack the AILET for many years now. They understand the importance of time management and hence have designed a course which is divided into 4 sections-
1. English Language
2. General Knowledge and Current Affairs
3. Legal Aptitude and Reasoning
4. Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability)

Each section has been allocated a certain number of hours as per the importance and weightage given to it in the exam. The course material comprises of previous years’ solved papers, mock tests, practice questions and much more.

The third important tip is to make a study schedule and stick to it religiously. It is very important to have a fixed routine for studying as it helps in better time management and concentration levels. It is advisable to give more time to the sections which are tougher for you and less time to the ones which are easier. This way you can utilise your time efficiently and also avoid burning out before the exams. Lastly, do not forget to take breaks in between studies, go out with friends or pursue a hobby- this will help you relax and come back refreshed!
