ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF COUNSELLOR / SENIOR COUNSELLOR

• Counseling Law Aspirants

-Direct interface between Academy and law aspirant students/parents for revenue generation
-Responsible for complete process of student enquiry to enrolment-
-Keeping complete knowledge of various Law Courses (LL.B. / LL.M.) conducted by various Universities, their placement records, educational and age requirements, no of seats, form filling dates, form fee annual fee and credibility
-Updating and learning about various Law and Judiciary courses conducted by Academy and career in Law
-Taking care of day to day student enrolments/Telephonic Inquiries/Walk-in Enquiries Regular follow-up with the Inquiries
-Counsel prospective law aspiring students/ professionals and advise them about the best course as per their career interests.
-Providing educational guidance and assistance for students by planning class schedules according to their requirements
-Analyze and keep track of course enquiries from various modes like emails, telephone and direct enquiries and maintaining the record of the same. Handle all leads from telephonic, direct walk-in and web generated inquiries.
-Maintain the record of the students joining the course and also keep a track of the fees to be paid by the students joining the course.
-Coordinate with Academy to ensure timely and quality delivery of e training / online test deliverables.
-Communicate to students about class timings, course structure and other such details
-Distribution of ID Cards, study material and other deliverables to students.
-Continuously work towards creating a positive bonding between the Academy and its students.
-Student retention and student satisfaction
-Update the students about any kind of new events / seminars / webinars related to the courses so that the student is informed time to time about any kind of information relating to any new courses.
-Arranging and attending meetings with management for discussing future training programs, student requests related to fee concessions, cancellation and refund issues and other Academy related issues.
-Any other work / activity assigned by the management for fulfilment of your duties
-Providing counseling to law aspirant students/ parents
-Guiding them for right kind of Judicial / Law Entrance Courses
-Follow up calls to the visited candidates
-Ensure maintaining the Academy's targets and other office compliance / accounts work
-Dedicated Sales performance

• Brand Management and Legal Marketing

-to involve in sales, marketing, advertisement, promotion and field activities of Juris Academy
-to improve brand quality, image and goodness of Juris Academy at the highest level by advertisement, promotion, appreciation, public relations and through social media
-to improve turnover of the Academy and co-operate in expansion of Academy in Legal Practice
-Devising marketing and advertisement strategies so as to generate maximum no. of student enquiries
-Participating and handling marketing and promotional activities including interacting on social media and networking
-Conducting seminars conferences in Universities / Institutes / Colleges, interacting with students and converting such inquiries into admissions

• Training and Human Resource Development

-to train associates in public relations, European etiquette, broad-mindedness, positive attitude and professional behaviour
-imparting training to associates on law courses, negotiation, selling and convincing skills

• Office and Facility Management

-to supervise office equipment, facilities and staff-to bring to knowledge to senior management about misdemeanor of staff and students and try to pacify the hyped situations
-to ensure that confidential or negative information about Juris Academy is not leaked in any manner -to take disciplinary action against deviant students and staff members

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Demonstrated Convincing, Counselling and negotiation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication in English language
• High levels of initiative, self-motivation, time management and strategic planning
• Ability to influence and negotiate with customers at all levels
• Ability to engage and gain commitment effectively across all communication platforms (via what’s up, Facebook, SMS, Email, Telephone and face to face)
• Ability to establish/maintain credibility with all customers
• Excellent skills on Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
• Willingness to take up higher / senior management roles or to act as Centre Manager
• Ability to supervise and manager sub-ordinate employees
• Flair for selling and tours and travels within and outside Delhi
• Dynamic, goal-oriented and energetic person

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Graduate

MBA / BBA / LL.B. / LL.M. Degree preferred but not desirable

Preference would also be given to Practicing Advocates / Lawyers / Legal professionals but not necessarily

Diploma in office management or a computer course would be a plus point

Job Description

Required Law Professors, Jurists or faculty members for guiding and training aspiring judicial officers and future judges.

Qualifications: Candidates having degree in  BA LL.B., LL.B. or LL.M., who have qualified NET/JRF exam are only eligible for this post. Candidate must also possess minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience. An ideal candidate must have published at least 2 papers in national and international legal journals.

Exceptional LL.M. pursuing students may also be considered. Candidates who have attempted any judicial services or PCS-J exam shall be preferred.
